Standing 19 feet tall and clutching a giant hot dog, this Paul Bunyon statue—intentionally spelled with an “o”—is one of Route 66’s iconic Muffler Man statues. Originally erected in 1966 at Bunyon’s hot dog stand in Cicero, Illinois, the statue was relocated to Atlanta in 2003, where it continues to delight travelers along the historic route.
