he Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is located in the original factory building of the Allan Herschell Co., which built hand-carved carousels in the early 1900s. This official Path Through History Site features a working 1916 carousel (on the National Register) and exhibits on the art, science, and social history of the carousel and amusement industry – including beautiful carved wooden carousel animals and rare Wurlitzer band-organ rolls used to bring the rides to life
