It’s A Wonderful Life Museum

The Seneca Falls It’s A Wonderful Life Museum celebrates the classic 1946 film and its local connections. Opened in 2010 in part of an old 1913 movie house, the museum displays an array of memorabilia and artifacts from It’s A Wonderful Life. Visitors can see original props and costumes (like Violet Bick’s earrings), vintage posters and programs, personal mementos donated by actors who played the Bailey children, and letters and awards related to director Frank Capra – all illustrating why Seneca Falls is believed to have inspired the film’s fictional Bedford Falls
