The National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM), located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the central role African Americans have played in shaping American music across more than 50 genres and styles, including spirituals, blues, jazz, gospel, R&B, and hip-hop.
